Desktop Onboarding Flow
Giving Assistant helps transform online shopping into charitable giving by offering an easy platform to donate cash back to nonprofits. This onboarding UX flow educates customers on a $5 referral bonus program, incentivizing users to grow the platform while supporting the causes they care about most.

As part of its overall marketing efforts, Giving Assistant runs a variety of shopper events and cause campaigns throughout the year. I wrote these display ads (shown in full at the link) to encourage customers to save money, earn cash back, and donate to nonprofits through the platform.

Givva API Landing Page
Givva makes personalized donations easy, inspires giving back, and drives customers to connect more deeply with businesses. The API service is owned and operated by Giving Assistant, a loyalty platform and certified B Corp founded in 2014 to transform online shopping into a sustainable source of charitable giving. My work for this landing page to launch the service included headline, subhead, and body copywriting — in collaboration with Giving Assistant CEO James Gray.

As part of my broader work with the marketing team, I wrote subject lines, headlines, and subheadings for various shopper-facing email campaigns. BRIGADE Unleashes Horror Movie Poster Series for Halloween
To celebrate Halloween, BRIGADE created a series of horror movie posters inspired by some of the genre’s most famous iconography. My work included the initial concept to create the posters, content planning and copywriting for the posts, and copywriting for this brief blog about the project. The overall social campaign won Silver for social media at the 2019 AdClub of Western Massachusetts Creative Awards.

Hiball eCommerce Copy
Hiball is 100% sparkling energy water made with all natural ingredients. The brand came to BRIGADE to concept and create a nationwide campaign that would launch in Los Angeles, Austin, and Portland, Oregon. The campaign was brought to life in digital and print billboards and wild postings; and was supported with a digital media buy, a robust social feed, and a refreshed eCommerce look and feel. At every touchpoint, the creative inspires people to embrace Hiball as a natural source of energy for their always-on lives. My work included copywriting for the brand's Amazon eCommerce page.
BRIGADE Print Ad in Different Leaf
Aiming to drive new business with cannabis branding clients, BRIGADE purchased a full-page advertisement in the premiere issue of Different Leaf, a new quarterly journal focused on the evolving cannabis industry and culture in Massachusetts. I worked closely on the ad with the agency's executive creative director, creative strategy director, associate creative director, and strategic advisor.
Bat Conservation International: Strategic Plan 2020–2025
Bat Conservation International is a global nonprofit that protects bats and their ecosystems to ensure a healthy planet. As part of an overall brand refresh, I helped the BRIGADE team develop BCI's strategic plan for 2020–2025. My work included copywriting for the introduction, executive summary, conclusion, and headlines from cover to cover, as well as copyediting client-provided content. I also created a naming convention aligned with the new positioning, designating BCI's larger planned efforts as "missions" comprised of smaller "operations" to protect specific species and habitats.
